Welcome to my Astonomy website, i was always fascinated by this hobby but never developed a real interest until i got my 1st 'real' telescope around 2000, with the new computer age i found a couple astronomy forums, and got encouraged to try astrophotography- little did i realize the learning is never ending with a difficult level thats astronomical.-- did you ever try focusing a camera on something you cant see? working the camera in pitch dark?- and then 'track' a pin point light source with the shutter open so theres no movement?- you get the idea!- these are some of my amatuer attempts, for those who dont know-- DSO means deep space objects in the link section,- for an added touch- i also included a short video of my other hobby, which is model railroads, enjoy-- john
